Steven Spielberg reveals 'Obama' with Daniel Day-Lewis

The annual White Correspondents' Dinner is a peculiar thing. Nicknamed the "Nerd Prom" by journos who still think of themselves as geeks, it's an event where the media and elected officials get together to swap jokes and pretend that the last 364 days of fighting and lying (usually against one another) simply didn't happen. It's one of those things that make people hate government and the media because it's such a charade. That said, there are usually some good laughs to be found, and this year's biggest gag came from none other than Steven Spielberg.

A video package revealed Spielberg's latest Presidential biopic, titled Obama, with his go-to guy Daniel Day-Lewis embodying the President. It's a cleverly assembled spoof which pokes fun at Lewis' famed ability to become any character he undertakes, while also giving Obama a chance to make fun of himself as well. It's worth a few chuckles, anyway.
