Hugh Jackman Laughs off Rumors of $100 Million Wolverine Deal

There's no doubt that Wolverine is one of the most popular and well-liked X-Men character. Having most recently starred in the successful and much better than the original sequel, The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman is now rumored to have signed a $100 million deal for four more movies starring the famous three-clawed character.

Entertainment Weekly recently chatted with the actor, who's busy on the Montreal set of next summer's big blockbuster X-Men: Days of Future Past. Jackman was quick to shoot down the rumors, stating that he would "never do that."

He goes on to say that he's "never done that mainly because, for the fans and for me, each time I've gone around there’s been a really good reason to do it and I don’t know what that reason is from here. I’m in the middle of making this and I just promoted the other and I’m really happy with the way The Wolverine came out."

So, as of right now, there's no truth to four more Wolverine movies coming out right now. But fans can still impatiently wait for the highly anticipated Days of Future Past and the return of director Bryan Singer to the franchise he began.
