Katniss Leads a Rebellion in New 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Trailer

The summer may be winding to a close, but that doesn't mean we're free from more blockbuster tentpoles. One that promises to be among the biggest of the year is right around the corner in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and after dropping an impressive trailer during Comic-Con, a new one has been released with even more footage.

While shorter, this trailer does a better job depicting the growing rebellion Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) have begun in the oppressed nation of Panem. We also get another look at the action within the Quarter Quell, featuring the previous Hunger Games winners in a fight to the death, and the scheming President Snow (Donald Sutherland) as he plots Katniss' demise. What comes across mostly is that the sequel is going to be much bigger and definitely darker in spirit than the last film.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens on November 22nd.
