Stan Lee will Cameo in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' After All

Unlike the vast majority of Marvel characters to appear on the big screen, Stan Lee has practically nothing to do with the Guardians of the Galaxy. But it was still something of a surprise when it seemed as if he wouldn't be making his usual cameo in the film, just as he's done for practically every other Marvel movie. Fortunately, fans won't have to endure the pain of a movie minus Stan "The Man" as he revealed to the C2E2 panel over the weekend that he has filmed a scene for Guardians of the Galaxy. Here's Stan's response to a question on the subject....

“I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you I do not understand what it was or why I did it. It has me with a girl — a very pretty girl — that’s all I can tell you.”

Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan will be too busy fighting most of the time, so Stan is probably talking about Ophelia Lovibond, who will appear as the Collector's aide, Carina. She also had a guest spot in the post-credits scene in Thor: The Dark World.

Guardians of the Galaxy, now with 100% more Stan Lee, opens August 1st.
