That's when he piles up his slate with a ton of projects, and he's just added another. He'll star in The Runner as an idealistic New Orleans congressman who becomes embroiled in a sex scandal in the wake of the 2010 BP oil spill. Austin Stark will be making his directorial debut on this one, with production to begin next month.
* Djimon Hounsou and Alexis Knapp will star in One, a post-apocalyptic thriller that sounds like The Stand meets Divergent. Written and directed by Australian filmmaker Murali Thalluri, the story is set in a world after a virus has wiped out 99% of humanity, leaving those who have survived divided into racial groups all fighting for a cure. Knapp will play a captured woman who is mysteriously immune to the virus. [Variety]
