The reboot of National Lampoon's Vacation has just another passenger for the family Truckster. Elizabeth Gillies, star of Nickelodeon series Victorious, has landed a role in the film, although it's unclear who she'll be playing. Apparently she won't be playing Audrey, the sister of grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) who is taking his family on a similarly doomed road trip as the one his father took him on as a child. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are back reprising their roles, with Christina Applegate as Rusty's wife, Chris Hemsworth as Audrey's boyfriend, and Charlie Day as a river rafting guide. The Horrible Bosses duo of John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein are directing Vacation in time for a 2015 release.
Here's a pairing that could have made for a pretty awesome Lethal Weapon back in the '80s. Danny Glover and Alec Baldwin are set to star in the sci-fi action flick, Andròn – The Black Labyrinth, which basically sounds like The Maze Runner for adults. Directed by Francesco Cinquemani, it follows a group of men and women who wake up in a dark, claustrophobic maze with no memory of how they got there. To survive they must solve the codes and endure the maze's bizarre tests.
