Jon Bernthal and Catalina Moreno Join 'The Godmother'; Nicole Kidman is a 'Lion'

Already seen starring in Fury alongside Brad Pitt, Jon Bernthal is now boarding The Godmother, which stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco aka "the Godmother of Cocaine". Yes, she was really called that. Also coming aboard the film is Catalina Sandino Moreno (Magic Magic) in an unspecified role. Eva Sørhaug is directing from a script by Frank Baldwin with filming to begin next spring.

Nicole Kidman and The Newsroom's Dev Patel are set to star in Lion, an adaptation of Saroo Brierley's book A Long Way Home, which tells of how he was separated from his family as a boy and how he was reunited with them 25 years later. During the time he was missing Saroo was adopted by an Australian couple. Gareth Davis (Top of the Lake) is directing.
