Daniel Radcliffe Has 'Trainwreck' Role'; Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth Team for 'By Way of Helena'

* The value of keeping your camera phone handy is catching somebody like Daniel Radcliffe hanging out with Marisa Tomei on the set of Judd Apatow's upcoming comedy, Trainwreck. Apatow has come out and denied it but the pics tell the whole story, and it looks like Harry Potter will be joining the cast led by Amy Schumer and centering on a basketcase trying to get her life back together. Bill Hader, Brie Larson, John Cena, Barkhad Abdi, Ezra Miller, and Mike Birbiglia co-star with the film set for July 24th 2015.

*  Because Woody Harrelson is looking for another team-up the quality of his True Detective pairing with Matthew McConaughey, he's now joining his The Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth  in the Western, By Way of Helena. Okay, so Hemsworth is no McConaughey but the movie sounds potentially strong with Aussie director Kieran Darcy-Smith (Wish You Were Here) helming the revenge picture from a Black List script by Matt Cook. Hemsworth leads as "an 1880s Texas Ranger sent to an isolated frontier town to investigate a series of mysterious murders" with Harrelson as a local preacher who holds the townspeople in a grip of fear. Kieran Darcy-Smith lines up Oscar Isaac and Max Minghella for 'Memorial Day'

As the Aussie invasion continues with the likes of Joel and Nash Edgerton, David Michod, and Ben Mendelsohn making big waves in Hollywood, Kieran Darcy-Smith is following right behind. His vacation thriller Wish You Were Here was a hit on the festival circuit, and with Joel Edgerton starring it's set to get a 2013 push to capitalize on his presence in Zero Dark Thirty and The Great Gatsby. Darcy-Smith has a few other projects perculating on the kettle, including writing a sequel script for the awesome Tomorrow, When the War Began.

One film that we learned about last year, and figured would be his next directorial effort, has just taken a big step forward. Deadline reports that 10 Years alums Oscar Isaac and Max Minghella have signed on to star in Memorial Day, a family crime-drama which follows "two brothers -- one out of his depth in a hard world he doesn't understand, the other recently returned from a period of self-imposed exile -- struggle to redress the fallout from a past family tragedy."

Financing is apparently being firmed up, and will be finalized once a critical third role has been cast. Once that's done, the aim is to begin shooting in Florida next year.
