'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' and 'Boyhood' Mashed-Up into the Awesome 'Apehood'

The other is Richard Linklater's Boyhood, a small coming-of-age film developed over a fairly large span of time. They may be about as different as two movies can be, but then again maybe not?

Nelson Carvajal has masterfully edited footage from 'Dawn' and Rise of the Planet of the Apes with the nostalgic music from Boyhood to create something that's hilarious but also pretty moving. It's very cool stuff so check it out below. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is out now (review here), while Boyhood opens here in DC next week although you can check out an early review here.
