Howard Joins Clint Eastwood Supernatural Thriller

I remember hearing about Clint Eastwood's next film, Hereafter, awhile back but then it slipped off my radar. Now as the cast rounds into shape it's starting to look more like another amazing production by the Hollywood icon. The latest addition to the cast is Bryce Dallas Howard, daughter to Opie himself, and probably trying to forget her terrible turn in Terminator Salvation. She'll be joining Matt Damon, Cecile de France(High Tension, great film), and Thierry Neuvic(Tell No One, one of last year's best).

The multi-cultural tale features Damon as a psychic, who can possibly see and talk to the dead. De France is a French journalist who nearly dies in a tsunami at the same as a 12 year old boy loses his brother in London. The characters approach Damon's character for psychic assistance, aid he's not all that willing to give as he's apprehensive about using his powers.

Doesn't actually sound like a "thriller" per se, but more like a drama told from many perspectives. Whatever it turns out to actually be, I trust Eastwood and writer Peter Morgan(The Queen, The Last King of Scotland) to make it something special.
