Trailer for Antoine Fuqua's Brooklyn's Finest!

If there's one thing I know about director Antoine Fuqua, it's that he has a nose for producing gritty dramas about corrupt cities and their influence over vulnerable people. The Training Day director's next flick appears to be heading down that same path. Brooklyn's Finest features Richard Gere, Hawke, Snipes, and Don Cheadle in a multi-story, interlocking tale similar to Crash or Pulp Fiction.

Gere plays a veteran cop during his last week on the force, training a new recruit that he doesn't want to be burdened with. Hawke plays a financially strapped father, contemplating robbing a drug dealer for cash. Cheadle is an undercover cop assigned to take down a thug(Snipes) that he shares a history with.

Early buzz I've read has been mixed. Brooklyn's Finest was the first film to be sold for release at the Sundance Film Festival. As of now, it's set to be released in March, 2010. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think!
