Zombieland Team to Tackle Deadpool?

Well it looks like Fox might finally get one of their superheroes right. After the abominable wreck that was X-men Origins: Wolverine, in particular the way they handled Deadpool's character, the prospects for the merc's spinoff film seemed pretty dim. Sure, we knew it was always going to happen, but that didn't mean it would be any good. Fox has been showcasing Wolverine for years and they still couldn't make a quality film with the guy, so why would Deadpool be any different?

Finally some potential good news on the horizon, as it looks like 20th Century Fox is strongly considering hiring the writing duo of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to script the Merc with the Mouth's big screen adventure. The pair struck gold earlier this year with the wildly funny Zombieland. Their senses of humor seem to be right up Deadpool's alley, in particular his penchant for "breaking the 4th wall"(talking to the audience, realization he's in a comic book). Zombieland routinely used this style of humor in Jesse Eisenberg's voice-over.

The deal is not set in stone as of yet, but it looks to be imminent. What do you guys think? Good idea?
