'Step Up 3D' Are you kidding me?

I would have put money down that this story was a bad April Fools joke when I first saw it but lo and behold it's true. The latest installment of the 'Step Up' franchise is coming and it's coming in the third dimension. The trailer looks exactly how you'd expect it to with phrases like "We live together, We battle together" being thrown around. I have to be honest with you and tell you that I do dig the dancing in these flicks, it's cool to see, but I don't know about making 3 of these movies is there really a  point? Are we telling a new story or just showing off new choreography? In any event here's the trailer....
