I meant to post this a couple of days ago but got sidetracked by 80s Explosion Day at the movies. This nearly 8 minute clip is awesome, and no it's not for a video game it is for the next Mortal Kombat film, titled Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. Shooting for a more realistic take, the dreaded tournament has been moved from Shang Tsung's mystical island and into our world, making the film look more like The Condemned or Bloodsport.
Without a doubt the best looking Mortal Kombat trailer I've ever seen, it also features a recognizable cast that includes Michael Jai White as Jax, Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade, and Lateef Crowder as Baraka. Check out the trailer for yourself, and get amped!
