Tucci Joins Captain America: The First Avenger

The cast for Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger is starting to rival that of Kenneth Branagh's Thor, which is really saying something. They just added another top flight star to the list, bringing on Stanley Tucci(The Lovely Bones) to take on the role of Abraham Erskine. Erskine is the scientist who created the super soldier serum that turned the formerly frail Steve Rogers into the peak human known as Captain America.

Tucci joins an impressive cast featuring Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, and Neal McDonough. Joe Johnston(The Wolfman) is directing. Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters on July 22, 2011.
