Kick-Ass Star Confirmed as Cyclops in X-Men: First Class

Back in  June a rumor was floated that Aaron Johnson could be re-teaming with his Kick-Ass director, Matthew Vaughn, as Cyclops in X-Men: First Class. The two were spotted having a meeting together, and the speculation ran rampant from there. Since then, the story has died down a little as Johnson was one of the contenders up for the role of Spider-Man. Now Aint It Cool News has received a tip "confirming" that Johnson will play Scott "Cyclops" Summers in the prequel.

Take this with a grain of ruby quartz until somebody official actually confirms it, but for right now it looks like Johnson's going to be headlining yet another major Marvel property.
