Trailer for Legendary, starring John Cena and Danny Glover

Way back in December I wrote about Legendary, the next WWE film starring multiple time Heavyweight champion John Cena. The film starred Cena as a a former convict, trying to make amends by teaching his little brother how to become an amateur wrestler. Some might say that Cena is still an amateur, but I digress....

For once it seemed like WWE was putting some backing behind the flick, bringing on two legit actors like Danny Glover and Patricia Clarkson to co-star alongside the usually awful Cena. In fact, I thought that Legendary sounded like it might be the first WWE film that has a shot at breaking out into the mainstream.

WWE Films has released the first trailer for the inspirational story, and my high expectations have been dashed a little bit. It looks a little cheap, to be honest. Cena is delivering the same stiff, monotone dialogue he always does. At least he gets to throw a guy through a window. Huh?? Danny Glover already appears to be sleepwalking through it. Clarkson is bringing it, as always. This is just the trailer, and the final product might be better than this makes it seem.  Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
