Emma Stone to be offered Mary Jane Watson role in Spider-Man

Emma Stone and Sony Pictures: So good together. The crimson haired actress, who has seen her two breakthrough roles in Zombieland and Easy A come through the studio, will reportedly be offered the role of Mary Jane Watson in Marc Webb's Spider-Man film. Just last week her name was mentioned as testing along with Mia Wasikowska for either Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy. Both characters are said to figure quite heavily in the rebooted franchise.

I'm already picturing a sortof Archie/Betty/Veronica triangle developing with Gwen/Spidey/MJ. So would that make Flash Thompson Jughead?

That just leaves the Gwen Stacy role open, and Wasikowska appears to be the lead candidate, although there are others vying for it as well, namely Glee's Dianna Agron.
