I can think of few things I want to see less than a poor man's take on a Pixar flick. Not that Walt Disney is exactly poor, but creatively they just don't have the Pixar juice. That's why this story is especially weird. With Cars 2 right around the corner, Disney is already looking to capitalize on it with a spinoff, titled Planes. Any idea what it might be about? Ummmmm....
The heads up on this one comes from Joblo, who got a press release on the story. The weird thing about it? Pixar isn't developing the flick at all. Nope, this will be a full blown Disney production for theaters. Check the plot...

Yuck. Almost sounds like a joke, but I know it's true. Ugh.
