Based on the graphic novel by visionary comic book writer, Rick Remender, the film follows a future society where the government plans to implement mind control on the population in order to prevent crime. Worthington will play a career criminal who must plan the the last heist in history.* It had been speculated for weeks, and now it's confirmed that Rob Marshall will be re-teaming with Johnny Depp on a remake of The Thin Man

by Dashiell Hammett, which became a very popular film franchise. Personally I only dug the first one. franchise on a minuscule budget, but his latest horror, Insidious, just passed $50M against a $1M budget. Now he's set to work with his biggest star yet, as Variety reports that Nicole Kidman is circling Wan's next horror, Spectre. No details on the story yet, but I'm guessing that it'll be more of a psychological yarn than a gory one.
