New poster for Dream House, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Naomi Watts

You can bet that deep down inside Jim Sheridan(In America, Brothers) is pleased as punch over the tabloid feeding on-set romance between Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig. It can only add to the buzz surrounding his latest film, the psycho-horror Dream House. Considering most of the recent talk about the film has been somewhat negative, with delays and reports of hastily reshot scenes, anything else would be good news, right?

Dream House certainly features a stand out cast, including the aforementioned Craig and Weisz, but also Naomi Watts, meaning both my favorite leading ladies together in one place. So why do I feel like this film is destined for failure? The story sounds like The Amityville Horror, The Others, and pretty much every other haunted house movie you've ever seen. Craig and Weisz play a couple who move their family into what they think is the perfect home, only to be haunted by the previous occupants, who died in grisly fashion.  There's a new poster out for the film, which while a little cliched, I think gets the message across that Daniel Craig definitely shouldn't open that door.

Dream House opens in theaters on September 30th!
