Trailer Time: Knights of Badassdom, starring Summer Glau and Peter Dinklage

LARP(Live Action Role Playing) last got it's big screen props in the 2008 comedy Role Models, and although it was only a small but memorable part of that film, it's about to be presented in a greatly expanded way, with a number of actors from your favorite TV shows in tow. Summer Glau(Firefly, The Cape), Ryan Kwanten(True Blood) Peter Dinklage(Game of Thrones, The Station Agent), Steve Zahn(Treme), Jimmi Simpson(Breakout Kings, 24), star in Knights of Badassdom, from director Joe Lynch(Wrong Turn 2).

The geek friendly cast will play a bunch of LARPers(is that what they're called?)  in the midst of a a grand battle, but things go awry when they unleash an actual demon from the depths of Hell.  Very cool idea, but I'm not sold on the trailer, which was premiered at Comic-Con.  I'm all for poking a little fun at how nerdy the entire culture is, but a tiny bit goes a long way. Holding out hope for this one.
