New Images from 360, starring Rachel Weisz, Ben Foster, Jude Law, and Anthony Hopkins

It's been far too long since we got a good film from Fernando Meirelles. Th Brazilian filmmaker was nominated for Best Director for the amazing City of God way back in 2004. And afterwards he made what I think is the best political thriller of the decade with The Constant Gardener. His last film was the lifeless adaptation of Blindness, but his next project looks very promising.

That would be 360, written by The Queen scribe Peter Morgan. It's rather unique premise involves a series of short scenes involving two couples after a sexual encounter. The story then takes one person from the last scene and shows them with another partner in the same situation, and it all continues in that manner until the whole thing comes full circle.  Meirelles gets to pair back up with his The Constant Gardener star, Rachel Weisz, along with Jude Law, Anthony Hopkins, and Ben Foster make up just a fraction of the cast.  A hanful of new images have been released ahead of it's premier in Toronto next month. When we get a chance to see it? No clue, as it's yet to find US distribution. D'oh.
