Olivia Wilde replaces Jennifer Garner in Better Living Through Chemistry
In case you didn't know, Jennifer Garner and hubby Ben Affleck are expecting a third little daredevil. So with her pregnant, she's going to be staying out from in front of camera for awhile. She could always do like in sitcoms and just stand in front of couches and tables the whole time, but that seems to be less effective in movies. So that means some of her roles are up for grabs, with her leading role in Better Living Through Chemistry going to the ever present Olivia Wilde.
I'm convinced Wilde has a body double out there somewhere because she's been in every movie this year and has about half a dozen more on her slate. In Chemistry, she teams up with Sam Rockwell in a story about a pharmacist stuck in a loveless marriage, who gets involved with a trophy wife(Wilde) who turns his life upside down. Judi Dench and Michelle Monaghan co-star.
Wilde, who was seen twice this summer in two awful movies, The Change-Up and Cowboys & Aliens, will hopefully fare better when In Time hits in October. Filming on Better Living Through Chemistry begins in the fall, directed by Geoff Moore and David Posamentier. [ScreenDaily]
