Based on a script by Dave Cole, Phillippe stars as a man who has been in and out of drug rehab for the better part of a decade, and is haunted by the ghost of his dead mother to return home to Shreveport and the family he left behind. movie that further news is relegated to these small posts until something's actually confirmed. But there is an interesting development, as Screenrant spoke to a source who claims to have inside info the film's potential plot, which will be confirmed in the coming weeks. The story would involve show creator Ron Howard making a film about the Bluth clan with A-list stars, only Dr. Tobias plays himself because nobody else wants to. The Bluths decide to fight against the production by shooting their own rival film. Sounds pretty meta, one of the show's specialties. I'll believe any of this when I see it.* The cast of GI Joe 2: Retaliation continues to dwarf the original not only in size but in talent. , has joined the cast of the toy-inspired sequel. He'll play Warden Nigel James, who isn't a character i'm not at all familiar with, which means he's likely one created for the film. Jon Chu is directing, with Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Dwayne Johnson, Ray Stevenson, and Bruce Willis amongst the stars. [Variety]
