* Something to scratch your head over in the coming weeks. Marvel and Pixar have set camp on a couple of release dates for some unknown flicks in 2013 and 2014. For Marvel, they've snatched up May 16th 2014, and June 27th 2014. But what will the films be? Guardians of the Galaxy? Maybe, but that seems a little soon considering we just heard about it last week. The likelihood? Probably one will be Edgar Wright's Ant-Man film, since it seems to be the furthest along of all the B-character flicks. The other? Possibly a Captain America sequel or maybe even Runaways? As for Pixar, they've picked up May 30th 2014 for the second of two unknow projects the studio has floating around. The other is set to drop on November 27th 2013.
* Russell Crowe will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in Broken City, a gritty film noir about an ex-cop turned detective hired by a mayoral candidate to investigate his wife's alledged infidelity.
