Trailer Time: Inside Out, starring Triple H and Michael Rapaport

Michael Rapaport is on the tip of everybody's tongue right now not for his acting, but for his amazing directorial debut, Beats, Rhymes, and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest. While that may be leading his career down a whole new path, he'll be seen in front of the camera next in Inside Out, the latest macho flick from Vince McMahon's WWE Studios.

Paul Levesque, who most will know as former WWE Champ(and current storyline CEO)Triple H, stars as AJ, a man who gets out of jail after 13 years and desires to live a quiet life with his family. However, his troublemaking, scheming best friend(Rapaport) gets in deep with the local crime syndicate, forcing AJ to become the violent man he used to be in order to keep the people he loves safe.  Yeah, it looks like your average revenge flick, although a pretty sweet assemblage of talent is on board. Alongside Triple H and Rapaport are the always fun Bruce Dern(Big Love) and Parker Posey(The Anniversary Party). Artie Mandelberg, primarily a director of television, is at the helm.

The WWE web page lists the release date as September 9th, but I'm expecting this to have an extremely limited theatrical run before hitting DVD probably within a week or two. That seems to be the usual plan of attack. Triple H is a solid actor, or at least he was in Blade: Trinity, and he appears to be doing a workmanlike job here. WWE Studios received a pretty sizable amount of positive feedback on their last film, That's What I Am, so maybe this could be the start of a trend.
