Trailer Time: The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe

While it can probably be argued that Emma Watson has the most upside in terms of her post-Harry Potter career, Daniel Radcliffe might have made the boldest first step by jumping into a film that puts him squarely in a more adult oriented role.  A few months after we received a brief, spooky teaser for The Woman in Black, we now have the first full trailer and it expands on that moody atmosphere.

Directed by James Watkins(The Descent 2) and based on a script by Jane Goldman(Kick-Ass), Radcliffe stars as a young lawyer who goes to a small town to handle the affairs of a scorned, recently deceased woman. There he discovers her deadly spirit terrorizing the locals. One thing I've liked about both clips is that they've been all about establishing tone, with very little actual talking involved. Kinda looking forward to this.

Ciaran Hinds, Janet Mcteer, and Sophie Stuckey co-star. The Woman in Black hits theaters here on February 3rd 2012.
