Trailer Time: The Grey, starring Liam Neeson

Joe Carnahan and Liam Neeson may have slightly underwhelmed at the box office with The A-Team's $170M, but the fun they had must've been worth it because the two decided to pair up again for the survivalist flick, The Grey. In it, Neeson plays one of group of oil pipelayers returning home from a job, only to have their 737 crash in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness. As anyone who has seen Alive knows, surviving the crash is the easy part, and the trek to make it to safety is roadblocked by a pack of hungry wolves. That image you see above? That's Neeson taping his fingers with broken liquor bottles for a little showdown with the wolfpack.

Sound crazy? Check out the trailer and judge for yourself....

Carnahan fell into my doghouse for awhile after Smokin' Aces made me want to slow roast my own brains it was so stupid. But I really dug The A-Team, and anyone who has seen Narc knows he has talent. The Grey looks like it could be a wild ride, so let's hold out some hope. Look for it to hit theaters on January 27th 2012.
