Michael Caine to make Now You See Me even more awesome

Based on potential alone, Louis Leterrier's heist flick, Now You See Me, would be the greatest film ever. The novel concept alone was enough to get me pretty jazzed for it, featuring a super team of illusionists who use their act to commit bank robberies. That is until a specialized FBI unit is put together to bring them down. It sounds like a ton of fun, but the cast is what truly sets it apart.

Already starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Melanie Laurent, and Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine is set to add his veteran presence. Moviehole broke the news, with ThePlaylist confirming he'll play Arthur Tressler, the man who sponsors the magicians' schemes. Here's hoping he gets to pull a few tricks himself, the way Caine did so beautifully in Christopher Nolan's The Prestige.

Now You See Me will open on January 18th 2013.
