Just in time for the release of Underworld: Awakening comes the complete set featuring the vampire warrior, Selene(Kate Beckinsale) and her fight against the Lycans. You'll get not only the first two films plus the prequel, Rise of the Lycans, but also the animated trilogy, Underworld: Endless War.
How does a movie like Warrior turn out to be such a flop? Set as the film that would do the same for MMA as what Rocky and Raging Bull did for boxing, it had no shortage of rave reviews and will end up on more than a few Top 10 lists this year. And yet there was a lukewarm reaction to it by audiences, who in my mind missed out on one of the most intense sports dramas of the last few years, putting it right up there with The Fighter. Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton star as two battlin' brothers who find themselves on a collision course when they both enter the same tournament, looking for more than the lucrative payoff but also redemption, security, and respect.
Woody Allen will forever be identified by Manhattan, but it's been a long time since he looked at a city with as much wonder and awe as he does Paris. Owen Wilson is a Hollywood hack of a screenwriter who walks the streets of Paris in a perpetual daze, dreaming of a day when he can live up to the standards of his heroes, the literary icons of France in the roaring 1920s. It isn't long before he more than gets his wish, a magical encounter at midnight whisks him into the world of Ernest Hemingway(a perfectly brusque Corey Stoll), Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Salvador Dali.
