Punch Drunk DVDs

3. 1911, starring Jackie Chan and Joan Chen
1911 is more than just a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Revolution, in which the last imperial dynasty was overthrown and the Republic of China was formed. It's also the 100th film to feature Jackie Chan, who also serves an exec producer.

2. Jane Eyre, starring Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender
Of the numerous film adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's Victorian novel, none have been worth a hill of beans in my opinion. It's just not a story that effects me very much. Until now, that is. Directed by Cary Fukunaga and starring Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender, the story of the burgeoning love between the defiant Jane Eyre and the enigmatic Edward Rochester has never smoldered quite like this.
1. Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill
Similar to The Social Network, Moneyball was tasked with making a lot geeky stats and data cool enough for the silver screen. Fortunately it had the rapid fire, whip smart dialogue of Aaron Sorkin to make it happen, along with a grounded, understated performance by Brad Pitt. The story focuses on Oakland A's general manager, Billy Beane, who puts his career on the line to not only turn his small budget team into a championship contender, but to change the entire culture of Major League Baseball.
