Tony and Ridley Scott producing documentary on Bill O'Reilly's terrible Abraham Lincoln book

Conservative tool and cancerous blowhard Bill O'Reilly is about to have his massive ego pumped up to a ridiculous degree. Last year he wrote an awful, critically panned, historically inaccurate book about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln titled Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination That Changed America Forever. While it wasn't so terrible that soldiers started using it for kindling like O'Reilly's other books, it was so lacking in facts that it was banned from being sold at the Ford's Theater. Whomp whomp.

Last September, O'Reilly told USA Today that some "heavy hitters" were looking to make a cable television special based on the book, but since he's so damn good at pulling facts out of his ass, nobody paid him any mind. Turns out O'Reilly was telling the truth for once, as The Wrap(via ThePlaylist) reports Tony and Ridley Scott will be producing the special in conjunction with the National Geographic Channel. It will feature some historical re-enactments, and will feature some elements presented in CGI. Why? No clue.

Bear in mind that we don't really know what the documentary would entail. It could be a total debunking of many of the lies and conspiracy theories the book presents as truth, which would make this a show definitely worth watching. I hope that's the case, because it'll be humorous to watch him try and spin it to say that it was all some liberal plot led by Van Jones or something.
