From the moment we got that first image of MMA star Gina Carano layin' the smacketh down on Ewan McGregor, Haywire has been a film I've been itching to see. Soderbergh has had success taking figures from niche avenues to star in his movies dealing tangentially with their profession, such as porn star Sasha Grey in the call girl flick The Girlfriend Experience. And now he's doing the same with Carano, letting her put her natural butt kicking skills to the test in his first true action showpiece.
The first five minutes of Haywire are now online, showing Carano squaring off against a game Channing Tatum in a diner. The rest of the cast features Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Michael Angarano, Bill Paxton, and Mathieu Kassovitz. Watch Tatum get the beatdown he should've received in Fighting below....
