1st look at Felicity Jones and Ralph Fiennes in 'The Invisible Woman'

Last year's Coriolanus proved to be one heck of a directorial debut for Ralph Fiennes. The actor brought the same level of passion and intensity behind the camera as he has in front of it, succeeding in the difficult task of making the works of William Shakespeare modern and relevant. Rather than sitting on his butt and spending years trying to get another project off the ground, Fiennes is already hip deep in filming his follow-up, the Charles Dickens biopic, The Invisible Woman.

Based on the novel by Claire Tomalin, the film will follow the relationship between the novelist(Fiennes) and his lifelong mistress, Nelly Ternan(Felicity Jones). The script comes from Abi Morgan(Shame), and co-stars Kristin Scott Thomas(Love Crime) and Tom Hollander(In the Loop). Empire has released the first two official images from The Invisible Woman, which will likely be released some time next year.
