Ron Perlman wears a dress in the new 'Frankie Go Boom' trailer

"Your family is poison. Stay away. Be honest." With those prophetic words scribbled on a scrap of paper, so begins the weirdest trailer of the year in 3...2...1...Frankie Go Boom, a film that has been garnering no small amount of buzz for just being....well, balls out insane. A heavy push for it was made during Comic-Con, mostly hyping the presence of Charlie Hunnam(Undeclared) and Ron Perlman(Hellboy) as both were also together in Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim. But...well, this is the image the studio passed around in flyers and emails...

Egads!!! Who put the wig on the gremlin? Well, crazy as it sounds, the plan worked and people wanted to find out why exactly Perlman was going all Madea on our asses. The trailer is appropriately scattershot for a story this far out. Hunnam plays Frank, who all his life has been tortured and humiliated by his brother, Bruce(Chris O'Dowd), who would always capture the most embarrassing moments on tape. Now that Bruce is sober, Frank thinks may they can have a normal sibling relationship. Nope, not really. When Bruce turns a sex tape between Frank and his girlfriend(Lizzy Caplan) into a viral internet sensation, things get really weird extremely fast, with Perlman appearing as a transgendered ex-con friend of Bruce's.

Directed by Jordan Roberts and co-starring Whitney Cummings, Nora Dunn, and Chris Noth, Frankie Go Boom hits Itunes on September 10th, followed up by a theatrical run on October 12th. Check out the trailer below...
