* Rest easy, folks! Kat Dennings and her dry brand of snark will be making a return for Thor: The Dark World. Dennings plays Darcy, the best friend to Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, and it wouldn't be shocking if Dennings has a larger role this time around considering her current popularity as the star of 2 Broke Girls on CBS. Thor: The Dark World opens on November 8th 2013. [Deadline]
* I've given up trying to keep track of Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups. It seems like every other day somebody new is prancing around with Christian Bale on set, to the point where I'm starting to think Malick is just calling every celebrity on his Rolodex. By now it's easier to figure out who's not in the film rather than who is. The latest addition is your future Robocop, Joel Kinnaman, playing a "rich playboy". We don't know much about the plot, other than that Bale is playing a depressed writer or something. Imogen Poots, Natalie Portman, Wes Bentley, Isabel Lucas, Ryan O'Neal, Freida Pinto, and Teresa Palmer are co-starring. [SvD]
* Brit actress Olivia Williams(Rushmore) has joined the cast of Ten(reverted back from Breacher), the latest cop thriller from director David Ayer(Harsh Times) and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington, Joe Manganiello, Terrence Howard, and Malin Akerman. Based on a script by Skip Woods and loosely adapted from Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians, the story follows a DEA task force who robs a drug cartel for millions of dollars, only to get picked off one-by-one once they start to feel safe. Williams will play a cutthroat detective investigating the team's murders. Also, it appears Dawn Olivieri(House of Lies) may have found time to remain in the cast, after being reported to have dropped out.[THR]
