A busy weekend at New York Comic-Con for Marvel has meant the unveiling of a pair of new straight-to-DVD animated features, both with very different styles and textures. Along with the previously seen trailer for Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, Marvel debuted this one for Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United.
Marvel Animated is behind this one, and you can see the look is a bit rougher than in their other features developed by the Japanese studio MADHOUSE. It kind of looks like a cel-shaded video game cut scene.The story has Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, who bonded in The Avengers, taking on the electric entity known as Zzzax. The footage doesn't show so much of Zzzax, but we do see Iron Man and Hulk battling a bunch of drones, with Tony's Hulkbuster armor even popping up towards the end. Nice.
Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United hits store shelves next April. Check out the trailer below....
