With filming now underway in the south of France, we're getting the first look at Jude Law and Richard E. Grant(Spice World) in Dom Hemingway, the dark crime comedy from writer/director Richard Shepard. After months of development, the finishing touches were put on the casting just a few days ago when Emilia Clarke and Demian Bichir came aboard.
Law plays a safecracking ex-con just released from prison, and heads to France with his best friend to get the money a crime boss(Bichir) owes him for keeping his mouth shut for twelve years. Things probably don't go quite as planned.
We can probably expect to see Dom Hemingway on the festival circuit some time in 2013. [Deadline]
