Colin Firth may play Nicole Kidman's husband again in 'Before I Go To Sleep'

Nicole Kidman has become so much of an awards season fixture that she can probably call her own shots when it comes to who she co-stars with. If she likes working with someone and wants to do it again, chances are she's going to get her way. The Oscar-winning actress is set to begin filming on Rowan Joffe's Before I Go To Sleep early next year, and she's looking at a recent co-star to play her husband for a second time.

THR reports that Kidman wants Colin Firth for the film, which recently added Mark Strong to the cast. Kidman recently played Firth's husband in The Railway Man, the WWII drama based on the life of POW Eric Lomax. Before I Go To Sleep is a totally different animal, though, as it centers on a woman(Kidman) with amnesia whose husband(Firth) must re-introduce himself to her each morning. After sneaking off to see a doctor(Strong), he suggests she keep a record to help with her memory, only to discover that her husband may not be who he claims.

Kidman, Firth, and Strong is a powerful trio that gives this film instant gravitas, so let's hope this pans out.
