Keri Russell's terrorized by aliens in the first 'Dark Skies' trailer

Stop me if you've heard this before. A nice, normal moves into a seemingly normal home in a quiet suburban town only to discover the house is haunted by something evil that proceed to make their lives miserable. Wha? It sounds like one of a dozen films you saw already this year? Then you won't be surprised by anything you see in the first trailer for Dark Skies.

Starring Keri Russell, who should be above this sort of thing, the story involves everything mentioned before, except for the genuinely nasty bit where birds begin dive-bombing their windows, leaving ugly bloody streaks everywhere. Creepy stuff. This a Hitchcock flick and nobody told told me? Otherwise this is generic city, not surprising since it comes from writer/director Scott Stewart, who cursed graced us with Legion and Priest in the span of a year. Dakota Goyo and Josh Hamilton co-star, with the always awesome J.K. Simmons as a paranormal investigator. Things never go well for paranormal investigators in these sorts of flicks.
