New 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' poster features flying monkeys!


Oooh, monkeys! Who doesn't love monkeys? Especially flying ones with sharp teeth? Last week we received the first of three posters for Sam Raimi's Oz: the Great and Powerful, featuring a look at Rachel Weisz as the Wicked Witch. My assumption was that each poster would spotlight a different witch, but clearly that's not the case. Instead we get Bad Santa's Tony Cox as a the diminutive Knuck. I'd much rather have Michelle Williams or Mila Kunis, thank you very much.

Look closely and you'll see James Franco as Oscar Diggs in a runaway hot air balloon, Joey King as the porcelain China Girl, and a really weird looking sprite of some sort. Hopefully the next poster will show us Mila Kunis as Theodora and Michelle Williams as Glinda the Good Witch.

Oz: the Great and Powerful opens next year on March 8th.  Check out the synopsis in full below...
