And this is why we take everything with a grain of salt. A couple of days ago a story emerged that Jim Sturgess, Zachary Levi, and an unknown third actor were the final choices to play Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. According to director James Gunn, almost none of it is true, though. Almost.
Ok, so part of it is accurate. I'm guessing Sturgess is still in the mix, somehow. Levi's addition always seemed a little odd since he's already playing Fandral in Thor: The Dark World.
Oh well. It sounds like a decision is going to be made shortly. Guardians of the Galaxy opens on August 1st 2014.
