Lionsgate spent all of last week releasing "victory portraits" featuring the bulk of the principle cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and while they're presumably done with that, the marketing push for one of the biggest films of the year continues. The French distributor has released on their YouTube page a new teaser trailer, which is sure to get Katniss Everdeen fans reaching for their mockingjay pins.
While there's no actual footage or anything like that, it does show the flaming mockingjay symbol that will become quite prevalent in the sequel and the two closing chapters as rebellion builds throughout Panem.
The film follows Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) on their victory tour after successfully surviving the 74th Hunger Games. But their win comes with a price, and President Snow seeks to tighten his control over them by putting them right back into the action as part of the Quarter Quell, pitting them against a number of past Hunger Games victors.
