'Raze' to make its long-awaited debut at the Tribeca Film Festival
One film I've been happy to champion over the last few months is the hardcore, gritty female fight flick, Raze. Why? Well, did you see the words "female fight flick" in there? Plus it gives me another chance to see the incomparable Zoe Bell kick a whole lot of ass! We hadn't heard anything about the film in a few months, which had me a little worried, but now comes word that it will make its long-awaited debut at Tribeca Film Festival next month during the Midnight section!
Bell stars with the lovely Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) in the story of two women, abducted along with 50 others and forced to fight in brutal underground death matches for the enjoyment of the wealthy elite. Think the clandestine nature of Hostel and the viciousness of Fight Club all rolled into one. Joseph C. Waller directs, with Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks), Doug Jones (Hellboy), Tracie Thoms (Rent), Adrienne Wilkinson (Xena: Warrior Princess), and Rebecca Marshall (Saw 3D) getting in on the action.
So yeah, I'm excited. We should be seeing a new trailer soon, but for now you can check out the previous one below. Fight or Die!
