Flashes of terror in the new 'Carrie' motion poster

It might be Memorial Day weekend, but MGM must think it's Halloween because they've dropped a new, horror-filled motion poster for Carrie. Directed by Kimberly Peirce and starring Chloe Moretz, the adaptation of Stephen King's novel centers on the titular bullied schoolgirl, raised by her abusive mother (Julianne Moore) until she unleashes her latent telekinetic abilities on those who've tormented her. The poster shows flashes of the carnage as Carrie is finally pushed too far during the senior prom.

Also starring Portia Doubleday, Ansel Elgort, Judy Greer, and Gabrielle Wilde, Carrie sets theaters ablaze on October 18th. Check out the poster below.
