Michael Bay reveals the redesigned Optimus Prime in 'Transformers 4'
Filming on Transformers 4 is already taking place out in Monument Valley, and Michael Bay has been busy showing off his latest toys. He's been out taking "a convoy of brand new, re-envisioned and remodeled Autobots out for a spin down Highway 163" in Navajo country, which must have made for quite a sight. Last night we got a look at two of the latest Autobots who will be joining the fight against the Decepticons, and now Bay is offering a first look at their leader, Optimus Prime.
The image shows the "completely upgraded, custom-built" Prime courtesy of Western Star. It seems that Bay has decided to maintain the same basic look, including the flaming streaks on the side, rather than going with Prime's original look. It remains to be seen if there will be any significant changes when in robot form, but as of now that doesn't appear to be the case.
Transformers 4 rolls out on June 27th 2014.
