New teaser for Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD'

ABC may have teased us a few days ago with a brief teaser for Marvel's Agents of SHIELD (sadly now removed), but now that the show has officially been picked up for series, they've dropped a blistering six seconds of footage that will likely be part of tonight's trailer. Along with it comes the first official image of the cast, which includes Clark Gregg as the returning Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemima Simmons, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, and Chloe Bennett as computer hacker Skye.

While brief, the teaser brings up a ton of questions and reveals quite a bit about the nature of the series. Most obviously is that there will be a lot of super-powered heroes and villains in each episode, making it all the more likely to see familiar Marvel characters appear. Coulson's team doesn't appear to be your regular old SHIELD unit, as they'll be investigating crimes that also appear to have attracted the local police. Clearly, the main question will involve how Coulson is around to investigate much of anything considering Loki treated him like a shish kebab in The Avengers. Hopefully the rumored answer to that question is just that, some scandalous rumor.

Tune in to tonight's season finale of Once Upon A Time to see the full trailer, or just wait until we put it up shortly thereafter.
