First Clip From Lars Von Trier's 'Nymphomaniac'

Everything we've heard and seen of Lars Von Trier's erotic Nymphomaniac suggests it will be yet another challenging, controversial, and probably very divisive entry into his canon. From the simulated sex to to the CGI genitalia, to softcore and hardcore versions of the two-part story, everything about it has Von Trier's button-pushing madness behind it, and now we're finally getting footage of what's in store.

The first clip has been released, and it's taken from the first of eight chapters, titled 'The Compleat Angler'. It shows a young Joe (Stacy Martin, with Charlotte Gainsbourg as the older version) and her more experienced friend B (Sophie Kennedy Clark) looking to seduce a couple of boys on a train. Their plan is a bit more in depth than that, though, all of which can be found in a short extract from the initial chapter....

How does an ordinary bag of chocolate sweets become a symbol of sexual victory?
As Joe and her experienced friend B embark on a train trip, they bet on how many men they can seduce on the ride.
The grand prize is a delicious bag of chocolate sweets, and it soon becomes clear to Joe that in order to win, she needs to lure the prey into biting the hook like a skilled fisherman.

 So it's kind of a short version of "What's your number?". We can expect to see new footage from each chapter released regularly until the film hits theaters. It opens on Denmark this Christmas but has yet to receive a U.S. date. Don't make me fly to Denmark to see this thing!
