The Edge of Tomorrow (formerly All You Need is Kill) panel just ended at Comic-Con, with Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, and director Doug Liman on stage right now. They've just shown the first trailer, and the look and tone is a cross between Source Code, a Neill Blomkamp film, and there's a little bit of Aliens in there, as well. A new poster has also been released featuring Blunt's character, Rita Vrataski.
Cruise plays newbie soldier Bill Cage, who is thrust into a futuristic war and quickly killed. But rather than that being the end of his story, he is caught in a time loop where he experiences the battle repeatedly, learning more and becoming a better soldier each time.
Edge of Tomorrow opens on June 6th.
